Returns & Exchanges

We trust that you are pleased with your purchase from The Alden Shop. Should you find that your order does not meet your expectations for any reason, we are happy to assist with a return or exchange within 30 days of receipt, provided the item remains unworn and in its original condition.

Item Condition

We ask that all items be returned unworn and in the same condition in which they were received. Any signs of wear or damage, including but not limited to, creased uppers or scuffed leather soles, may result in the return being declined or a deduction applied to your refund to reflect the diminished condition of the item. We respectfully ask that all shoes be tried on a carpeted surface to preserve the integrity of the leather sole.

Returns

Please be aware that all returns without intent to exchange are subject to a $25 restocking fee. To initiate a return, kindly submit your request along with the reason for your return within 30 days of receiving your order. Upon approval, a prepaid return label will be provided. Items must be received by us within 14 days of return approval.

Exchanges

It is our sincerest intention that every pair be the perfect fit for our customers. Should the item you received fall short of this standard in terms of style, size, or color, we invite you to request an exchange. In the event that the desired item is unavailable, we will arrange a prepaid return label and issue a full refund upon receipt of the original item.

Refunds

Upon receiving your return, each item is carefully inspected before a refund is authorized. Items that do not meet our return condition standards may be subject to a partial deduction or returned to you at our discretion.

Once your refund has been authorized, you will receive a confirmation by email detailing the amount to be credited. All refunds are issued to the original payment method, less any applicable outbound shipping charges and the $25 restocking fee where relevant. Refunds are processed within 72 hours, though please allow up to 5-10 business days for the credit to reflect in your account.
